Cities as engines of innovation and social growth

Knowledge Aperò #3 an afterwork informal gathering for sharing discussion and wine

On wednesday January 31st, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini organizes it's third Knowledge Aperò event dedicated to Cities, inclusive growth and innovation. Turning Cities into engines for innovation and inclusive growth requires a mix of economic, social, physical, technological and networking assets. Our event will explore some of the themes of the upcoming event OIS - Open Innovation Summit (Turin, 5-7 April 2017), which intends to explore the key enabling factors of cities' capacity to innovate and compete on the global stage, and to bring together governments and local administrations’ officials, corporates and civil society leaders to share successful practices, models and ideas, in the spirit of mutual learning and exchange.

Marzia Buonaroti and Niklas Juhl, Watify, will introduce the discussion. Diego Teloni, Director of FGB, and Fabio Sgaragli, Open & Social Innovation manager at FGB, will moderate the event. After the short talk, in the spirit of knowledge sharing and fuelling debate, we look to encourage audience participation and conversation

Knowledge Aperò is our networking initiative in the form of an informal after-work gathering, where we look to chat and share ideas over great wine with guests. We hope our networks bring inspiration and increase the dimensions of value generated by individuals, institutions and companies.
